The average U.S. household consumes 101 gallons of water per day per person, according to published information. For a family of four, that’s nearly 12,290 gallons a month on average. The list of cities and water districts that offer rebates is constantly changing. The best thing to do is call you local water utility company and ask about their rebate program.
